This Privacy Policy explains how techyworks (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our website at techyworks.online (the “Service”). We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Your files stay on your device

techyworks is a client-side PDF editor. The PDF files you open are processed entirely within your web browser. Your documents are never uploaded to our servers, never stored by us, and never transmitted to any third party. When you close or refresh the page, the file is gone from memory.

Exception — ATS Resume Checker: when you use the ATS checker, your resume file is uploaded to our servers for analysis only, then deleted immediately after the score is returned. We do not store resumes or share them with third parties.

Exception — Resume Builder: when you use the resume builder, your resume content (form fields and text) is sent to our servers to generate the PDF for live preview and download, then deleted immediately. We do not keep resume content after the response.

Exception — PDF ↔ Excel: when you use the PDF to Excel converter or the Excel to PDF converter, your file is uploaded to our servers for conversion only, then deleted immediately after the result is returned. We do not store files or share them with third parties.

Information we collect

We do not require an account to use the editor. We may collect the following information:

• Usage data (automatic): via Google Analytics and Meta Pixel — such as pages visited, general device/browser type, and traffic source, used to understand usage, measure ads, and improve the Service. This is not used to personally identify you.
• Cookies: small files stored in your browser as described below.
• Contact form (optional): if you send a message through our Contact page, we collect your name, email address, and message text. We may also record your IP address for security and abuse-prevention purposes. This data is stored on our servers so we can respond to you and manage inquiries.
• Newsletter (optional): when you download a file from the editor, we may show a prompt asking for your email address. Subscribing is entirely optional — you can download without entering an email. If you subscribe, we store your email to send Service updates. You can request to unsubscribe by contacting us.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (measurement ID: G-WJLH7XEYWG) to understand how visitors use the site. Google may collect information through cookies or similar identifiers, including pages you visit, visit duration, and device type. Your cookie-banner choice is respected — Google analytics are not activated until you consent (Google Consent Mode v2).

Meta Pixel (Facebook)

We use the Meta Pixel (pixel ID: 1011915397866558) to measure Facebook and Instagram ads and understand actions visitors take on the site after clicking an ad. Your cookie-banner choice is respected — the pixel is not activated until you consent.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies to operate the site, serve advertising, and run analytics. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this and other websites.

• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

How we use information

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Understand usage patterns through Google Analytics and measure Facebook/Instagram ads through the Meta Pixel.
• Respond to contact messages and manage support requests.
• Send Service updates to newsletter subscribers (if you choose to subscribe).
• Display advertising through Google AdSense that keeps the Service free.

Third-party services

We use the following services that may collect information through cookies or similar technologies:

Data retention and deletion

• Contact messages: kept until we handle your request; you can ask us to delete them.
• Newsletter email: kept until you request to unsubscribe.
• PDF files: in the editor and most tools they remain on your device only. Temporary-upload exceptions are listed above.
• ATS checker: uploaded temporarily for analysis and deleted immediately after the score; not retained.
• Resume builder: resume content sent temporarily to generate a PDF and deleted immediately after the response; not retained.
• PDF ↔ Excel: uploaded temporarily for conversion and deleted immediately after the response; not retained.

Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
