The editor is a full workspace in the browser: open a PDF, change what sits on the pages, download a new copy. No install, and ordinary editing never uploads the file. This is not InDesign — paragraphs do not reflow across pages on their own — it is precise tools on top of the PDF you already have.

What you can actually change

  • New text anywhere, with size, color, and style you pick.
  • Existing text when there is a real text layer: the tool reads font styling under the cursor and tries to match it. Long paragraphs will not re-wrap like Word.
  • Images, logos, and drawn signatures placed on the page.
  • Highlight, pen, and white-out boxes for markup or for hiding something from a casual glance only.

White-out is not redaction

A white or black rectangle over sensitive wording does not delete the text from the file — someone can still copy or extract it. To remove information for good, use Redact PDF, which flattens those pages to images on download. Mixing up the two tools is the most common security mistake on “edit PDF” sites.

Scans and forms

If pages are images with no selectable text, run OCR first, then edit. To complete existing AcroForm fields, use Fill PDF form instead of typing over the boxes. To swap a repeated phrase on every page, use Find and replace.

Editor limits

  • The whole file lives in the tab’s memory. Very large documents are happier on a computer than on a phone.
  • We cannot embed commercial fonts that are not on your device; matching is approximate when the original font is missing.
  • Encrypted PDFs: open them with the password, or Unlock PDF if you are allowed to.

Edit in four steps

  1. Open the editor with the button above and load a PDF.
  2. Pick a tool (text, edit text, image, highlight, draw, white-out).
  3. Click the page to place the change and adjust it.
  4. Download — the file stays on your device.

Questions about editing

Does added text stay searchable?

Yes for real text edits. White-out and drawings do not remove the old text underneath.

Can I fix a date in a contract without the source file?

Often yes, by editing text or typing over it when the layout is simple. For anything sensitive, proof the downloaded pages.

Are my documents uploaded?

No — editor sessions stay local. (The ATS resume checker is a different path that uploads then deletes.)
