How to Create a Fillable PDF Form Online (Free Form Builder)
July 22, 2026 · 3 min read
Need a job application, invoice, consent waiver, or registration form that people can type into — not print and scan? The free PDF Form Builder on techyworks.online lets you place real fillable fields on a blank page or an existing PDF, then download a standard AcroForm file that opens in Adobe Acrobat, Chrome, and most other readers. Everything runs in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
This guide walks through the whole flow: starting a form, using ready templates (including Arabic), placing fields, previewing answers, and exporting.
Form Builder vs filling an existing form
If someone already sent you a fillable PDF, use Fill PDF Form to complete it. Use the Form Builder when you need to create the form — either from scratch or by adding fields on top of a PDF you already have (a scanned intake sheet, a Word export, a branded letterhead, and so on).
Step 1 — Open the Form Builder
Go to techyworks.online and open Form Builder from the navigation (or visit
/form-builder). No account is required. You'll see a three-pane layout: a field palette
on the left, a live page canvas in the centre, and a properties panel on the right.
Step 2 — Start blank, upload a PDF, or load a ready template
- Blank page: Pick a page size (A4 is the default) and portrait or landscape, then add fields by hand.
- Upload a PDF: Drop an existing document onto the builder to keep its design and place fields on top of it.
- Ready forms: Use the “Ready forms” dropdown to load a complete layout — job application, invoice, medical history, consent waiver, course enrollment, and more — in English or Arabic. Every template is editable after it loads.
Step 3 — Add and arrange fields
Click a field type in the palette to drop it on the active page, then drag and resize it. Supported types include:
- Text & paragraph — single-line answers or longer notes
- Date — dedicated date slots
- Checkbox — consent lines and yes/no ticks
- Radio group — pick exactly one option (ideal for Arabic choice lists)
- Dropdown & list — choose from a defined set of options
- Signature — a signing box for the completed form
- Label — static captions attached to fields (including full-width consent captions)
Select a field to rename it, set a default value, edit dropdown/radio options, mark it read-only, or wire a simple calculated total (for invoices and expense forms). Use preview mode to test-fill the form before you export.
Step 4 — Building Arabic (RTL) forms
The ready-form list includes a full Arabic set — job applications, leave requests, rental forms, membership applications, and more — laid out right-to-left with Arabic labels. Arabic templates use radio buttons for choices so option text shapes correctly; you can still add any field type by hand on a blank or uploaded page.
Step 5 — Download or open in the editor
When the layout looks right, click Download PDF to export a fillable AcroForm, or Open in editor to jump straight into filling it yourself. Recipients can complete the downloaded file in Acrobat, Preview, a browser, or techyworks' own Fill PDF Form tool — no special software on your side.
Privacy
The Form Builder processes everything on your device. Your PDF is never uploaded to a server to place fields or export the result, so applications, medical histories, and signed waivers stay on your machine.
Create your first fillable form
Open the Form Builder, load a ready English or Arabic template (or start blank), place the fields you need, preview once, and download. In a few minutes you'll have a professional fillable PDF ready to send — without printing, scanning, or signing up.
